Easy Homemade Hummus

Easy homemade recipe that is creamy and amazingly delicious.

Ingredients

Hummus

  • 1.5 cups chickpeas (garbanzo beans) cooked
  • 1/4 cups lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup tahini
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp cumin
  • 1/4 tsp sea salt

Topping

  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/4 tsp paprika
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 cup parsley chopped

Instructions

  • Combine all ingredients in blender or food processor and blend until smooth
  • For a looser consistency, add a splash of water and blend until you reach your desired thickness
  • Place into a serving dish and top with olive oil, cayenne, paprika, and parsley.
  • Enjoy!

Notes

If you do not have cooked chickpeas, use a 15.5-ounce can as a replacement. Drain and rinse.
