I’ve followed the pre-test guidelines. Any advice for when the test is in progress?

Stay balanced and centered.
Small weight discrepancies may occur if the body is off-balance or shifting on the footplates. Remain still and ensure feet are centered on footplates.

Shh!
It is best to remain quiet during testing as the highly sensitive electrical frequencies may detect vocal chord vibrations and contraction of abdominal muscles, both of which normally occur when speaking.

Relax.
Holding the handgrips in a relaxed manner is ideal in obtaining consistent results as it is difficult to replicate the same way muscles were contracted during subsequent tests.

Open arms.
Keep arms straight and away from body so that upper arms have minimal contact to the torso. This will help the InBody clearly differentiate between arm segments and trunk segment. If the arms are too close to the body, the InBody may confuse a portion of the arm segment as being part of the trunk.
