Buffalo Chili
Chili
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground bison
- 1 lb ground pork
- 1 green bell pepper chopped
- 1 red bell pepper chopped
- 1 Orange bell pepper chopped
- 1 large yellow onion chopped
- 5 cloves garlic minced
- 1 28 oz can crushed tomatos
- 1 28 oz can kidney beans strained
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbs cumin
- 3 tbs chili powder
- 2 tbs cocoa powder
- 1 28 oz can diced tomatos
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp dried basil
- 1 tbs Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tbs olive oil
Instructions
- Heat large pan over medium heat.
- Add ground beef and pork and cook until it's almost finished.
- Drain liquid, and return to pan.
- Add garlic, onion and peppers.
- Add oregano, worcestershire, chili powder, cumin, salt and pepper.
- Cook until meat is finished.
- Add kidney beans, canned tomatoes, cocoa powder and stir.
- Bring to a boil and turn to low.
- Let simmer for 20 minutes.
- Enjoy!
Notes
If you would like to add some heat to this recipe, add a diced jalapeno and a habanero when you are adding the garlic and onion.
