Creamy Garlic Mushrooms

  • 5 strips Organic Uncured Bacon chopped
  • 5 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1.5 lbs Baby Portabello Mushrooms
  • 1/2 cup Chicken or Vegetable Stock
  • 3 tbsp Ghee
  • 2 tsp Fresh Thyme Leaves
  • 1 bunch Fresh Parsley chopped
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste


  • Add bacon to large stovetop pan over medium heat adn cook until crispy
  • Remove bacon and drain grease
  • Add garlic to the same pan and cook until fragrant (about a minute or two)
  • Add baby portabello mushrooms and stock and cook covered over low heat for 10 minutes.
  • Add ghee and bring to boil.
  • Once sauce starts to thicken, stir in thyme and bacon and reduce to low heat
  • When sauce is your desired consistancy, remove from heat and sprinkle parsley over the mushrooms.
