Adrenal Fatigue is Likely

Based on your results, adrenal fatigue is very likely.

Cortisol, an adrenal hormone, is also called the stress hormone that evolved from our ‘fight or flight’ response and is released in response to both physical and mental stress. This is a very good short-term response yet becomes dysfunctional and dysregulated with chronic stress.

When cortisol is too low, symptoms include fatigue, weakness, low blood sugars, low blood pressure, and poor sleep. Responses to new stressors are overwhelming and coping mechanisms are not optimal.

When cortisol is too high (it can increase with age) it can lead to weight gain, insomnia, anxiety, weakness, insulin resistance, weakness of the immune system and osteoporosis. Less commonly seen are cortisol deficiencies; too little cortisol can cause fatigue, low blood pressure, low blood sugar, and insomnia.

To find out if you do in fact suffer from adrenal fatigue, I recommend you schedule a visit with your physician.

Here at the Meno Clinic, we work with you, listening intently to your description of your symptoms and assessing your hormones to find your personal best.

If you have symptoms of adrenal fatigue, we may recommend an adrenal medication or provide a nutrition plan and/or supplementation to support optimal adrenal function.

We treat patients rather than lab values.

We will monitor you closely and check your adrenal lab values until your symptoms are resolved. If you speak with your doctor about your adrenal concerns, make sure they take a similar personalized approach to help you.

We are also offering our digital Adrenal Reboot eCourse absolutely FREE!

Within the course, you will learn how your adrenals are directly affected by your blood sugar, inflammation, sleep, and stress. On this journey, you will use the information provided in videos and documents to personalize your own plan to reboot your adrenals.
