Salmon with Lemon & Thyme


  • 32 oz piece of salmon
  • 1 lemon, halved, for squeezing
  • 1 lemon, thinly sliced
  • Salt and freshly ground pepper
  • 1 tbsp fresh thyme
  • 3 tbs olive oil


  1. Preheat the charcoal or gas grill
  2. Season salmon with salt and pepper
  3. Mix together 1 freshly squeezed lemon, olive oil and thyme in a small bowl
  4. Place salmon on the grill, skin side down
  5. Drizzle lemon, olive oil and thyme mixture over the salmon and then top with lemon slices
  6. Grill salmon for about 5 minutes per inch of thickness and flip halfway through.
