Slow Cook Moroccan Bison Meatballs

Ingredients

Meatballs

  • 1 lb ground bison
  • 1/2 medium onion diced
  • 3 tsp paprika
  • 2 tsp cumin
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1 bunch cilantro chopped

Moroccan Sauce

  • 1 medium onion chopped
  • 1 28 oz can diced tomatoes
  • 2 tsp paprika
  • 2 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper

Instructions

  • Add all ingredients for the sauce into the slow cooker and stir until everything is mixed together.
  • Turn slow cooker on high.
  • Combine all ingredients for the meatballs in a large mixing bowl and mix together.
  • For 25 small, loosely packed meatballs and place in slow cooker atop of sauce.
  • Cook for 2.5 hours on high, stirring occasionally.
